
Evolution of the field
From 1966 to 1970 :
Family cattle farm comprising 2 ha of land and 2 buildings of 300 m²
The main stages of the campsite:
1970 : Creation of the campsite activity - 80 emplacements - A building constitutes the bar, reception and workshop - The 2nd building (showers and sinks) - Creation of a small toilet block.
1981 : Expansion of the park: 100 plots and a contract signed with a large English camping club (CAREFREE)
1983 : Swimming pool was built
1986 : Expansion of 20 plots (120)
1987 : (SARL) company creation
1991 : Caroline bought the company and the land. Management has changed.
1999 : Storm"Martin"and rearrangement of the park, extension of 23 plots for statics installation (143) and statics sales activity started.
2000 : Start of sustainable development within the campsite (see A3P sheet)
2001 : Computerization
2005 : New shower block : solar panels, water pressure reducers, revision of the statics rentals contract : obligation for eco-lamps in all units and premises.
2006 : Membership with the green key label, intensive selective sorting, recycling (internal recycling center).
2007 : Creation of the mini farm: chickens (table waste) and Ouessant sheep (shearing)
2008 : Membership with CAMPING QUALITE (become one of the best campsites in France)
2011 : Expansion of 7 plots (150) and widening of the pitches, treatment with salt for the swimming pool.
2015 : Referent campsite for the association of mayors of France
2016 : Creation of the latest plots : 157 (550 people) high standing of 140 m², the swimming pool is covered and heated, 18 statics pitches high standing, 2 reclassifications (CQ and NN stars).
2024 : Development envolve towards a better future with improvements...
2025 : Creation of the non-profit association "Anim' à Rié" within the grounds. Renovation of the bar, new library, layout of the terraces in front of the bar, refurbishment of the shower area in the sanitary block, new Wi-Fi throughout the domain, modernization of the automatic gate system at the entrance .
2026 : Development of the A field, which will become a "Logis Park" with 19 large plots for new statics. Year-round opening of D and A fields. Reconfiguration of the number of plots (153 in total). Expansion of the overnight parking area.
Customers :
Very family-oriented and predominantly French. Since 2024, approximately 30% English, with some Germans, Belgians, and Dutch. 85% regular customers.
